La Marche (est haute) a présenté, entre avril et juin 2015, dix interventions numériques, sonores et artistiques en milieu urbain avec comme dénominateur commun des déplacements à vitesse lente (marcher) ou à vitesse variable.
La phase initiale de La Marche (est haute) a été réalisée par des artistes des arts médiatiques, visuels et sonores qui soumettent à notre regard et à notre ouïe une approche singulière et personnelle de Montréal :
André Éric Létourneau, Daniel Canty, Daniel Olson, David Madden (pour Andra McCartney), Douglas Scholes, Marc-Alexandre Reinhardt, Nicolas Dion, Patrick Beaulieu, Raymond Gervais, Rober Racine.
La documentation a été assurée par plusieurs artistes participants, par Bruno Julian, Catherine Béchard, Jacinthe Lessard, Manon Labrecque, Sabin Hudon, et par MINUTE.
Des documents photos, vidéos et sonores sont disponibles pour consultation sur l’Internet et en diffusion pendant les quatre jours de l’événement final de ce mois de septembre.

La Marche
(est haute) is a convivial exhibit, open to the general
public, which closes off the eponymous series that took place during the spring
of 2015 and brought together a series of ten artistic interventions in the
urban space produced by Québécois artists.

Informations:
Between the months of April and June 2015, La Marche (est haute) presented ten
artistic, digital, and audio interventions in the urban space, with the common
denominator being that the actions required a slow-paced walk or at varying
speeds.
The initial phase of La Marche (est haute) was created with artists working in the
fields of media, visual and audio arts, all of whom propose in their artistic
practice a singular and personal approach to Montreal’s sonic and visual
landscape: André Éric Létourneau, Daniel Canty, Daniel Olson, David Madden (for
Andra McCartney), Douglas Scholes, Marc-Alexandre Reinhardt, Nicolas Dion,
Patrick Beaulieu, Raymond Gervais, Rober Racine.
The documentation was provided by several
participating artists, by Bruno Julian, Catherine Béchard, Jacinthe Lessard,
Manon Labrecque, Sabin Hudon, and by MINUTE.
Photo, video and audio documents are available for
consultation online and will be exhibited over the course of the four-day event
in September.
The curator, Eric Mattson, and MINUTE Productions wish
to thank the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres
du Québec for their financial support, as well as Eastern Bloc for its
collaboration, and, of course, the artists, without whom an event of this nature
